El Capitan enlisted in Team of The Matchday 8
Thanks to Carlos Vela, who has been named into the Team of the Matchday 8, the Black and Gold achieved their first road victory against the LA Galaxy at Dignity Health Sports Park. Vela scored a brace in the 3-2 win on Sunday.
Vela’s first score came with some help from teammate José Cifuentes, who deflected the ball back to Vela for a great look. Vela’s second came on a penalty kick at the 70th minute. Vela also recorded an assist to Ryan Hollinghead for the third score of the game by a Black and Gold jersey.
After 10 El Tráfico matches, Carlos Vela now has a total of 10 goals and 3 assists versus the LA Galaxy.
