LAFC vs Nashville SC Highlights
In a 2-1 victory for the Black and Gold, Gareth Bale and Giorgio Chiellini made their debut in the LAFC vs Nashville SC matchup on Sunday night at GEODIS Park. It was the first ever match between the two clubs, and the win broke the two-game road winless streak for LAFC.

José Cifuentes wasted no time at the start of the second half to take back the lead in the 46th minute. The play was initially executed by Carlos Vela as he found Hollingshead on a cross. Hollingshead’s header took a bounce off the far post, but Cifu was at the right place at the right time to tap in the goal for his sixth goal of this season. What a beast.
The legendary Italian defender Chiellini was able to start the game for LAFC and finished the night with 3 tackles. Bale came off the bench in the 72nd minute but only recorded a foul suffered.

They stay strong in first place MLS standings with a 13-4-3 record and 42 points. LAFC will face off against Sporting Kansas City this Saturday, July 23 at Children’s Mercy Park.
