Christopher Jaime signs USL contract with Las Vegas Lights

Making history, Christopher Jaime signs USL contract through the end of the 2022 season with LAFC USL affiliate, the Las Vegas Lights. Jaime’s professional USL contract makes him the first LAFC Academy player to sign with the Lights.

The announcement was made by Las Vegas Lights FC on Thursday. The 18-year-old has played for Lights FC over the previous two seasons as a USL Academy signee. Since making his debut against Orange County SC in 2021, Jaime has played 1,147 minutes over 34 games and has recorded one goal, one assist, and 20 chances created.

In his second start for the club last season, LAFC Academy Player Christopher Jaime scored his first goal against Sacramento Republic FC. The young athlete has made 18 appearances this season and has completed 191 of 243 passes, made 35 recoveries, and won 35 of 83 duels.

As Christopher Jaime signs USL contract with the Las Vegas Lights, the California native is moving forward in part of a crucial portion of his career in the LAFC player development system.
