LAFC vs Philadelphia Union Highlights

LAFC tried to get back on track Saturday against the Philadelphia Union. It wasn’t exactly a successful mission.

Carlos Vela returned to the starting line up for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury last month against the Galaxy, and LAFC needed every bit they could get from him.

LAFC conceded early, a recipe for disaster for them as of late. Kacper Przybylko’s looping header over Tyler Miller in the 3rd minute put them in control of the game from the start.

LAFC grabbed the goal back just before the half with an opportunistic finish from their star. Vela seized on a moment when the entire Union backline switched off after a bloop cross bounced of the woodwork and into the six.

The second half saw chances for both sides but the two teams were forced to settle for a draw.

LAFC finally head back to their safe haven, Banc of California Stadium, to play Toronto FC next Saturday.
