LAFC vs Orlando City SC Highlights
LAFC squared off against Orlando City SC to try to get back on track Saturday night. It didn’t quite go as planned.
LAFC, still without Vela, and only suiting up 16 total players, did well to stay in the game despite facing a frisky competitor desperate to stay in the hunt for an Eastern Conference playoff spot.
LAFC jumped out to an early lead with Adrian Perez’s first goal in his first start of the season.
But former Manchester United star Nani answered quickly with a delicate chip over Tyler Miller. Orlando followed that with another well worked goal less than ten minutes later to put them in the lead heading into half time.
The game was mostly even, with both sides creating solid opportunities, but LAFC’s Diego Rossi came to the rescue in the 78th minute with a moment of brilliance to salvage the draw for his side.
LAFC have now dropped points three games in a row for the first time all season. They will try to the right the ship at Philadelphia next Saturday.
