LAFC vs Chicago Fire Highlights
The Chicago Fire paid a visit to Banc of California stadium Saturday hoping to steal a few points from Western Conference leaders LAFC.
LAFC’s potent attack managed to create the better of the chances on the night, but for the first time in 2019, they were unable to secure the full three points at home.
Both teams found themselves staring at all but certain goals at various points in the evening, with the Fire making a miraculous goal line stand shortly before impossibly botching an open net gimme.
For Chicago, it was a welcome point before heading back east for a home stand.
LAFC will be frustrated to drop the points at their precious home field, but they continue on their second protracted unbeaten stretch of 2019.
LAFC head to Columbus, Ohio, to face the crew next Saturday night.
