The Born X Raised LAFC collaboration has revealed a limited edition LAFC Championship Collection of apparel and accessories set to release today, Friday, June 23 at 12 PM PT on BornXRaised.com. By the looks of it, the Venice streetwear brand has some fresh new designs lined up for all Black and Gold fans.
Joining the likes of the Dodgers, Lakers, and the Rams, LAFC once again teams up with the amazing Venice streetwear brand following the franchise’s first ever MLS Championship back in November of 2022. The new Born X Raised LAFC Championship Collection project was inspired by LAFC midfielder Erik Dueas, an MLS Cup champion who was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles.
Dueas has been a member of the LAFC Academy since 2016, and signed with the Black and Gold in 2020 at the age of 16. Dueas represents the Club’s development from its Los Angeles-based roots into a champion.
“LAFC, like so many of our fans, staff and even players like MLS Cup Champion Erik Dueñas were born and raised on the streets of Los Angeles,” said Vice President of Brand and Community for LAFC, Patrick Aviles. “We are so proud to join other champions in this great city by creating something special with Born X Raised and share Erik’s story with our fans. It is truly special to be able to celebrate our championship with such a meaningful and authentic collection.”
