Listen to the new LAFC Club anthem below!
“Ciudad De Campeones” is the brand new LAFC Club anthem and is the very first Mexican Corrido inspired Anthem in U.S. Sports. Get ready to listen to the track below!
The new LAFC Club anthem features vocals by Mexican rapper Alemán, Cypress Hill’s B-Real, and Los Angeles artist and LAFC Original Bobby Castro. Influenced by Mexican corridos, the song is produced by DJ Flict, a Grammy nominated producer.
“LAFC is taking over the city,” said Alemán. “I want to be a part of this movement and this culture. The first time I heard the hook, I wanted to be a part of this project.”
“Música Mexicana has arrived on the global music scene,” states LAFC Chief Brand Officer Rich Orosco. “We are proud to be the first sports team in the United States to launch a Mexican corrido-inspired anthem. We know our fans will love it. Turn your speakers up for this one.”
This song joins “My Home” by Stix (2019), “Reppin The City” by DJ Flict, Cypress Hill, and Shavo (2022), “Do It For LA” by DJ Flict, Kid Ink, and B-Real (2022), and the “Do It For LA” Remix by DJ Flict, Kid Ink, B-Real, and D Smoke as the fifth LAFC Club anthem that the team has ever co-produced.
“We created this song to become a mainstream hit,” said DJ Flict. “We have an artist dream team with Bobby, B-Real, and Alemán. This song was born in the LAFC community, but it’s for everyone.”
“LA is about winning,” says B-Real. “And the hustle. I’m happy to be a part of another LAFC anthem that celebrates the Black & Gold. These are my people.”
The new LAFC Club Anthem “Ciudad De Campeones” is now available on all streaming music services.
