LAFC’s sixth annual community service event celebrates 2023 LAFC Season of Giving
Throughout the months of November and December, the 2023 LAFC Season of Giving will be held by the Los Angeles Football Club and Golden Boot Club Partner Ford. Together, they invite fans to participate in the hosted events and volunteer opportunities that will bring holiday cheer to the thousands of families and community groups located around the greater Los Angeles Area.
LAFC and Ford will start off the 2023 LAFC Season of Giving on Saturday with the Magic Johnson Holiday Hope event hosted by the legendary Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Co-Owner of the Los Angeles Football Club and NBA Hall of Famer.
The next day, LAFC will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner at BMO Stadium for the families from Aviva Family and Children’s Services, Covenant House, and Union Rescue Mission. Activities at the event will include caricature creations, cookie decorating, friendship bracelet design, and a photo booth to capture the memorable festivities.
The fun won’t stop as the sixth annual community service event will continue on Saturday, December 16 for a holiday shopping spree at the Mattel toy event located in El Segundo. With the courtesy of LAFC and Ford, children from the Los Angeles non-profit Athletes In The Making will have the lucky chance to take home toys of their choice. Mattel will also be donating three Power Wheels Ford Raptor trucks at the event.
Kickstarting this December, fans and attendees will be able to add a donation to any concession they buy at BMO Stadium for any of the events held there through 2024. Up to $10,000 in total contributions raised through point-of-sale donations at BMO Stadium will be matched by Ford.
