The LAFC Youth Leadership Program and the Breese Foundation partnered with Delta Airlines and Aeromexico to sponsor a backpack and school supply giveaway to kids across central Los Angeles.
Since the club’s inception, LAFC has remained committed to it’s goal of “being a force for good in Los Angeles”, and the latest event with the Breese Foundation looks like it was a hit.
The kids had a chance to get some LAFC gear, a brand new backpack and binder, have some pizza, and of course play some soccer. Seth Eklund of the Breese foundation said the event was focused around “building community, setting goals, and getting the students hyped for the school year.”
The Breese Foundation is a non-profit that has been active in central Los Angeles for over 35 years, providing family services, gang prevention, and after school youth programs for low income residents in central Los Angeles. This is critical work, and we highly encourage anyone who is interested to make some time and volunteer – follow this link to learn more!
Well done to Aeromexico, Delta, and the LAFC Youth Leadership Program for putting this event together and remaining committed to the goal of helping create a better Los Angeles.
