The 2023 MLS Best XI Selection Is Here!
Presented by Continental Tire, Major League Soccer and LAFC unveiled the 2023 MLS Best XI selections, containing a list of outstanding players from the 2023 MLS regular season and one of the most prestigious awards across the league.
Only the most entertaining players in the MLS can be honored as part of the 2023 MLS Best XI selection, which awards the league’s finest players at each position as selected by MLS players, MLS club staffs, and the media. This collection of 11 talents includes six players who were chosen for their first Best XI, with players from seven different countries and six different teams, all of which made it to the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs.
For his first ever Best XI honor, Dénis Bouanga has been selected to the Best XI after helping LAFC advance to the 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs. Over the course of the 2023 MLS season, Bouanga scored a total of 37 goals across all competitions. He scored his first career hat trick back on March 9, 2023 and another on April 8. Only two other players in the MLS scored multiple hat tricks this season.
Honored with the 2023 MLS Golden Boot, DB scored a league-high 20 goals. He joins eight other incredible athletes who have been selected for the first time in their career. Check out the full list below.
