Giorgio Chiellini and Carlos Vela make the board for Week 23 MLS Team of the Week
Newcomer and Juventus FC legend Giorgio Chiellini was named to the Week 23 MLS Team of the Week along with Carlos Vela. Vela scored the game-winning second goal of the match while Chiellini showcased his defensive play to secure the lead in LAFC’s 2-1 victory over the Seattle Sounders at Banc of California Stadium.
LAFC now have an MLS-leading 38 goals for the season and have scored in 37 consecutive regular season games at home dating back to the 2020 season. The Black and Gold continue their dominance with a league best of 48 points.
