José Cifuentes and Carlos Vela make the Week 18 MLS Team of the Week

Two LAFC players were featured in the Week 18 MLS Team of the Week thanks to the 3-2 El Tráfico victory at home on Friday at Banc of California Stadium. José Cifuentes scored two goals off three shots while Carlos Vela recorded two assists.

Cifu, who now has recorded five goals in the 2022 season, had his first ever multi-goal game in the MLS. Vela, who has had either a goal or an assist in five of his previous six matches, now leads LAFC with 8 assists for the season. That’s back to back multi-assist games for El Capitan.
