LAFC signs midfielder Timothy Tillman through 2025

Announced today, LAFC signs midfielder Timothy Tillman to a contract through 2025 that includes a club option for 2026. In anticipation of receiving an International Transfer Certificate (ITC), Tillman will join LAFC’s roster.

The 24-year-old Tillman joins the Black and Gold after spending the last season at Greuther Fürth in the German Bundesliga 2. Tillman played 85 times in his Greuther Fürth career, helping his team get promoted to Bundesliga 1 in 2021. In the first division of 2021–2022 German football season, Tillman played in 29 matches while recording one goal and two assists.

The Nuremberg, Germany native transferred to the FC Bayern Munich development program in 2015. He made 61 appearances for the U-17 and U-19 teams across all competitions and scored 15 goals and registered 21 assists. Tillman joined FC Bayern II in the summer of 2017 and made his debut on July 14. Tillman was a part of the FC Bayern first team who defeated Borussia Dortmund on penalties, winning the German Super Cup.

As LAFC signs midfielder Timothy Tillman, he fills up a slot in need. His versatility will surely benefit the Black and Gold for the 2023 season.
