LAFC Signs Midfielder Noah Dollenmayer on a short-term loan
Announced today, LAFC signs midfielder Noah Dollenmayer from LAFC2 on a short-term loan. The short-term loan agreement complies with MLS regulations and permits teams to sign players on loan from their affiliate for MLS, U.S. Open Cup, CONCACAF Champions League, Canadian Championship, and exhibition games.
Dollenmayer is a Thousand Oaks, California-native from Cal State San Bernardino who was picked up by LAFC in the third round of the 2023 MLS SuperDraft at #87 overall. The 23-year-old joined LAFC2 prior to the 2023 MLS Next Pro season.
Dollenmayer has played a total of 300 minutes and started all four games for LAFC2 so far this season. As LAFC signs midfielder Noah Dollenmayer, there’s a chance defenders Giorgio Chiellini and Aaron Long might be out for an extended period of time. Regardless, the 6-foot-5 newcomer will add some depth to the Black and Gold roster.
