LAFC signs midfielder Mateusz Bogusz through 2026
Announced today, LAFC signs midfielder Mateusz Bogusz from Leeds United to a four year contract through 2026 that includes a club option for 2027. Bogusz will be included in LAFC’s roster upon receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa.

I am excited to welcome Mateusz to Los Angeles.”
The 21-year-old Bogusz joins the Black and Gold from Leeds United of the English Premier League. Bogusz played 42 games for UD Ibiza in the Spanish Segunda Division while on loan from Leeds over the course of the previous two seasons. He totaled six goals and five assists in over 2,500 minutes of action.
Before making his professional debut in the top Polish league in 2018, Bogusz began his career in the Polish Club Ruch Chorzow youth system. The Ruda Śląska, Poland native joined Leeds United in January 2019 and contributed to the Under-23 team’s victories in both the regional Professional Development League and PDL Northern League.
Bogusz made his debut for the Leeds first-team in an EFL Cup match on August 27, 2019. Prior to joining Ibiza on loan for the 2021–2022 season, Bogusz spent the 2020–2021 season on loan at Spanish Segunda Division club Logrones, where he played in 23 matches and recorded one goal and one assist.
As LAFC signs midfielder Mateusz Bogusz, he will most likely be used on the wing as he has professional experience at the position.
