With a three-year deal, LAFC extends partnership with Venuetize
Announced today, LAFC extends partnership with Venuetize, the mobile technology and e-commerce platform for sports and entertainment. The agreement includes providing guests with a personalized mobile ticketing experience through Ticketmaster, payments and ordering with Venuetize Mobile Wallet and Mobile Ordering, and a LAFC App Clip that allows fans to access mobile ordering at the venue.
As LAFC extends partnership with Venuetize, the shopping experience will be streamlined for those using the LAFC App Clip. By scanning App Clip Codes that are displayed on physical and digital signs throughout Banc of California Stadium, fans using iPhones can access mobile ordering through LAFC App Clip without having to download the entire LAFC mobile app. When using Apple Pay, promotions will be offered for select items during checkout.
“LAFC continues to be leaders in implementing technological solutions that elevate the guest experience at Banc of California Stadium to new levels,” said Venuetize Vice President of Innovation and Client Solutions, Sam Yarin as LAFC extends partnership with Venuetize. “We are proud that Venuetize will continue to serve as LAFC’s mobile technology partner. LAFC is an organization that is constantly working with us to innovate and extend our partner integration ecosystem, which ultimately benefits the fans leveraging the Venuetize platform.”
“It’s vital to our organization to be able to deliver new benefits to our guests and partners,” said LAFC Chief Technology Officer, Christian Lau. “Venuetize has proven to be a future-proof partner that we can rely on to help us bring the latest in mobile technology to market.”
Prior to LAFC’s inaugural match in 2017 at Banc of California Stadium, the two organizations had already begun collaborating. Visit https://www.lafc.com/app for additional information.
