LAFC acquires 2023 international roster slot from Sporting Kansas City
Announced today, LAFC acquires 2023 international roster slot from Sporting Kansas City in exchange for $150,000 of General Allocation Money (GAM).
Prior to the start of the season, LAFC is one of four clubs whose opening weekend match has been postponed because of inclement weather, as confirmed by the teams. As LAFC acquires 2023 international roster slot, MLS roster compliance is due on Friday.
According to the LAFC roster page, 11 Black and Gold players required international slots, excluding Francisco Ginella and Mamadou Fall who are on loan.
On March 4 at 1:30 p.m. PT, LAFC will host the Portland Timbers at BMO Stadium. The match will also be broadcasted live on FOX and on ESPN LA’s 710 AM and 980 AM “La Mera, La Mera” radio stations. MLS Season Pass will stream every LAFC game this 2023 season live on the Apple TV app.
