You can find the Kids of Immigrants x LAFC collaboration exclusively at LAFC HQ
The LAFC team store at Banc of California Stadium will debut the latest Kids of Immigrants x LAFC collaboration, labeled the “Capsule Collection”, on Sunday, October 30 prior to the LAFC vs Austin FC Western Conference Finals match in the 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs.
The Capsule Collection represents the Kids of Immigrants brand’s first partnership with a major soccer team and features handcrafted clothing made in Los Angeles. The Kids of Immigrants x LAFC collaboration collection contains a line of two t-shirts, two hoodies, and two caps made solely for this special release.
“It’s important to me that our fans feel represented and seen at LAFC because without fans, football is nothing,” said Patrick Aviles, LAFC Sr. Director of Brand & Community. “That’s why this collaboration with Kids of Immigrants, a brand that so many members of our community can identify with, is important to us.”
First-generation Americans Weleh Dennis and Daniel Buezo founded Kids of Immigrants in 2016, calling it a “movement to recognize that we are all cut from different fabrics but together make a whole.”
“Kids of Immigrants is a brand, a movement and commUNITY fueled by love,” said Buezo and Gonzales. “We celebrate our roots and find pride in all the things that make us unique. Our mission is to inspire and empower all underrepresented communities, whether you are a kid of immigrant or not, our message is universal: support your friends, spread love and pay it forward.”
