LAFC vs Seattle Sounders Highlights – Western Conference Finals
LAFC’s dream sophomore season finally came to end on Tuesday night against the Seattle Sounders.
LAFC got on the board first with a beautiful free kick from Atuesta curled just over the top of the wall and into the left corner of Stefan Frei’s goal in the 17th minute.
The lead wouldn’t last long.
Raul Ruidiaz created a moment of magic five minutes later, receiving the ball in the teeth of the LAFC defense and executing a genius turn and hit to equalize. Nicolas Lodeiro slipped a second past Tyler Miller four minutes later to go ahead.
The Sounders never looked back.
Despite a few chances for LAFC, the Sounders took advantage of the home side pressing and get spread out, eventually clinching their berth in the MLS Finals with a second goal by Raul Ruidiaz in the 64th minute.
LAFC will be disappointed to miss a chance at their first Final appearance after a record-breaking season, but will hope to build on the success of their first two seasons and carry that momentum into 2020.
