After converting a penalty from a hand ball in the box, Vela delivered a second solo goal during which he seemingly went out of his way to embarrass every Earthquakes player in a ten yard radius before chipping the last defender, who lay on his back on the goal line.
It was a formality from there, with Josh Perez getting a deserved goal in the dying minutes.
LAFC cannot be stopped. They welcome the Galaxy across town Sunday looking to avenge their last loss at the hands of Zlatan’s hat trick.
