LAFC vs Montreal Impact Highlights
LAFC shook off last week’s draw with a thrashing of the Montreal Impact at Banc of California stadium Saturday night.
Christian Ramirez put LAFC up early with a deflection goal after hounding Montreal’s keeper, Evan Bush.
They kept rolling from there.
Vela made it 15 goals in 15 games with a slick run and finish in the 28th minute. Latin Blessing followed that almost immediately with another in 31st minute. And Tristan Blackmon iced the game in the 55th minute with a smashing header off a corner, a rare set piece goal from LAFC.
Montreal pulled two back after the result was done and dusted, both unforced errors by the LAFC defense leading to an own goal and penalty.
LAFC will look to clean things up and keep rolling next weekend in Portland.
