LAFC vs Colorado Rapids Highlights
LAFC’s second extended unbeaten stretch and Vela’s goal-scoring streak both came to an end on Friday night against the Colorado Rapids in Commerce City.
Despite being short a number of their starters, the visitors dominated the action for much of the night but ultimately their play in the final third was uninspired, and their usually potent goal-scoring pair of Vela and Rossi came up wanting.
After playing the first half to a draw, the Rapids took the lead early in the second half off a corner by Jack Price. Daniel Wilson towered over the LAFC defense at the back post and smashed a header into the back of the net.
LAFC mustered a few more chances, but were ultimately unable to get anything past Tim Howard in the Rapids’ goal.
LAFC head to Kansas City midweek for a showdown with Sporting KC.
