LAFC vs Austin FC Highlights
The decision was made at the very end of Wednesday night’s matchup at Q2 Stadium between LAFC vs Austin FC when forward Danny Musovsvi clutched a late game winner for LAFC to keep their hopes up for a potential playoff spot. LAFC defeated Austin FC 2-1 and seem to be on a roll now with a win streak of five games in a row.

About 8 minutes after LAFC’s lead, Fagundez followed up for a rebound equalizer right after Dominguez’s shot off the right post. ATX had an opportunity to take the lead in the 79th minute with Alex Ring’s shot but ATX’s midfielder was just off by a few inches. LAFC then subbed in Musovski for Marco Farfan. After a Danny Pereira turnover for ATX, LAFC midfielder José Cifuentes passed to Musovski through the middle for a clutch goal putting LAFC up 2-1. Even after a big effort from forward Moussa Djitte, ATX was unable to tie up the match.
The Los Angeles Football Club is now 3-0 against the Austin Football Club for the season and will face the Portland Timbers on Sunday, September 19 at Providence Park.
