Christian Torres rides Rose Parade float alongside rival Mark Delgado

Participating in the 134th Rose Parade on Monday, January 2, Christian Torres rides Rose Parade float for the 100th Centennial Celebration float from Rose Bowl Stadium. Torres joins Galaxy midfielder Mark Delgado on the Rose Bowl Stadium’s centennial float at 8:00 a.m. PT.

After Christian Torres rides Rose Parade 100th Centennial Celebration float, the 2023 MLS Regular Season will kick off with a match between the LAFC and LA Galaxy at the Rose Bowl Stadium on Saturday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. PT. Many are looking forward to what will become a rematch of the 2022 Western Conference Semifinal, in which LAFC won 3–2.

Torres, a Fontana, California native, was one of the first LAFC Homegrown Academy players to sign with the first team in 2020. On October 14, 2020, he made his MLS debut at the age of 16 and 138 days, making him the youngest player in LAFC history to start a game. He then scored a goal on October 18, 2020, making him the fifth-youngest player in MLS history to do so.
