Check out the latest 2023 LAFC roster moves
The 2023 LAFC roster moves for the next season have been announced today. After exercising five player options while declining four, the Los Angeles Football Club currently has 22 players under contract throughout 2023.
Contract options have been exercised on a couple midfielders including Kellyn Acosta and Latif Blessing. Defender Mamadou Fall, who is currently on loan to Villarreal CF – Spain, and goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau were also exercised.
LAFC declined contact options for goalkeeper Tomás Romero and on forwards Cal Jennings and Danny Trejo. The three will be qualified for the MLS Re-Entry Draft Process.
Cristian Tello’s contract was also declined but LAFC is expected to restructure a new one. Additionally, the club is in negotiations to keep Eddie Segura, Ryan Hollingshead, Sebastien Ibeagha, Franco Escobar, and Sebastian Méndez.
